ABOUT MIa L. Phan

Mia L. Phan, founder and principal of Mia L. Phan, is a designer creating multi-faceted commercial and residential environments. Phan has 10+ years experience in commercial interior design and project management for both historic building renovations and new construction projects for higher education, cafes and restaurants, office spaces, as well as high end residential projects. 

Her scope of work includes client programming, space planning, FF&E, interior and exterior signage, communicating designs and detail drawings to contractors and commissioned artists, and project management from the start of the design concept to project installation and completion.

Phan earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Georgia Southern University's CIDA accredited program.  Accolades as lead interior designer on projects throughout her work experience include recognition by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Historic Savannah Foundation,  ALA/IIDA Best of Best Award for Library Design of the Year, World Architecture News Award for Urban Design, and Best of Best Forum Design Award in Georgia's IIDA Chapter. Phan's most notable work experience includes SCADpad, SCAD's Jen Library, Haymans and Norris Halls, ADMC, Donghia grant for the SCAD Atlanta Interior Design Center renovation, and most recently, Number 9.
