Mia L. Phan is an interior designer—and now licensed realtor—with over 13 years of experience. Her background includes commercial interior design and project management for historic renovations, adaptive reuse, and new construction across higher education, hospitality, and corporate sectors, as well as high-end residential design. 

Mia L. Phan earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Georgia Southern University's CIDA accredited program.   

As lead interior designer on multiple projects during her tenure at SCAD, The University for Creative Careers, Mia contributed to award-winning work recognized by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Historic Savannah Foundation, and Georgia’s IIDA Chapter. Project accolades include the ALA/IIDA Best of the Best Award for Library Design of the Year, the World Architecture News Award for Urban Design, and IIDA Georgia’s Best of the Best Forum Design Award. Her most notable contributions include projects such as SCADpad, SCAD’s Jen Library, Haymans and Norris Halls, SCAD Number 9, and the Atlanta Digital Media Center—home to the SCAD Atlanta Interior Design Center, which was awarded the prestigious Donghia Grant for renovation. Her role as the interior design project manager for Houses and Parties on a brownstone renovation led by Brooklyn based MADE Design/Build, was featured in Veranda in 2023.  In her spare time, Mia enjoys relaxing in her coastal hometown of Historic Savannah, Georgia, hanging with her dogs Poncho and Lemmy, and loves bicycling, playing guitar, and gardening with her partner, Tom.
